Here is the boat we rented at Loon Lake. It was a pontoon boat which was perfect for the lake setting. Slow and steady! Here is Dainton's first fishing lesson with daddy. It was very cute.
This was taken right before Dain through his pole in the lake. Needless to say it was not a kids pole so it is now at the bottom of the lake. He sure was upset about that.
This is a eagle that Kristopher spotted. One of many wildlife experiences out in the wild yonder. We also saw wild peacocks and 2 doe.
Now it was time for Col to help daddy drive the boat. LOL!

Here is Dainton enjoying some watermelon after a nice warm ride on the quads.
Well we had to let Coltin have a turn with the quad.
This was our next stop, Loon Lake. This is a very pretty and very remote lake. So remote we had no cell service for 3 days. This was a little unnerving for me.
This is a beautiful beach that we found when we rented a boat.
I was surprised to see homes on the lake. It would be a great place to have a vacation home because it is pretty fast to get to it from civilisation.

Here are the boys on Col's bed. This was actually a sweet moment. With a 2 year old boy those moments are small and rare. Thank goodness we captured it.
Dain really enjoyed playing in the sand then again what kid doesn't.
Here is Kristopher and Chuck gettin the quads off the trailer. They both had to gun it at the same time and then the trailer flips back. Crazy! Oh so cute Kristopher and Dain walking the beach with their helmets. You can never be too safe!
Once again Dain playing in the sand. I needed to feed Col so Dain was able to get off and play for a minute.

Here are some pictures from our family vacation that we took last week. Our first stop was Florence OR. We stayed at Honeyman state park and we played on the sand dunes. We had soooo much fun that we are going back next year. I hope! Here is Chuck and Dain on the beach. Beautiful and a bit cold but well worth it.
Here is Rambo

THE BEACH
This is the third day and the warmest of all the days. We actually were able to ride without jackets. Man that was fun! This is Kristopher and Dainton. Every day that we rode the quads Dain would scream and cry when he got on then half way out to the dunes he would start to smile then he would fall asleep. Then we would head back and he would and have had a blast. For the whole rest of the trip he talked about those bikes and grandpa like it was the coolest thing since apple pie. I found out this trip how much alike Dain and I really are.
